About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, direct, organize, control and improve functions of assigned Division within the Department of Radiology.
Coordinate and conduct section and staff meetings.
Work with Radiology educator to develop and conduct in-service education programs for new equipment, procedures, and policies.
Assist the Senior Director and Business Director in preparation of budgets and global review of department operations.
Work closely with the medical staff and management to ensure high quality of customer service.
Recommends changes in operations that affect productivity, efficiency, and quality of services.
Performs as a staff imaging technologist if necessary.
Participate in the development and monitoring of an effective staffing and retention strategy.
Implement and enforce policies and procedures that guide and support departmental operations and services.
Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local regulatory requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate's degree in related field or equivalent
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field
5+ years of work experience in a related job discipline
Ohio Radiology professional license as applicable to requirement of modality/modalities overseen
Preferred: Management/leadership experience
