About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support and develop integration between Workday and other tertiary systems.
  • Support tertiary systems as primary/secondary role.
  • On-call support for Workday and all other tertiary systems on rotating basis.
  • Analyze, design, support, maintain, enhance, and implement systems and solutions with low complexity.
  • Address production support, application configuration and enhancements with direction from senior level team members as needed.
  • Provides technical support and problem resolution assistance for production and process issues.
  • Monitor system performance and functionality to avoid potential issues as well as gathering information for future development needs or feasibility studies.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 0+ years of experience in a related job discipline
  • Basic programming or scripting experience (academic or hands-on)
  • Foundational knowledge of SQL, including simple queries and data retrieval
  • Exposure to web and data technologies such as XML, XSLT, CSS, or JavaScript
  • Basic understanding of file transfer concepts (e.g., FTP, SFTP) and data movement processes
  • Familiarity with API concepts, including SOAP and REST, through coursework or project experience
  • Basic familiarity with AI tools or concepts (e.g., generative AI, automation tools) and an interest in applying them to improve workflows and efficiency.
