About the role
- Design a variety of complex projects
- Develop technical solutions
- Produce plans and specifications
- Attend design and site meetings
- Participate in construction site monitoring and supervision activities
- Determine construction costs and quantities in accordance with standardized methods and the established plans and specifications
- Conduct studies and prepare technical reports
- Coordinate and supervise the work of technicians and draftspeople assigned to projects
- Ensure coordination among stakeholders
- Provide technical support to various clients
- Prepare project schedules
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, structural specialization
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in structural design (steel, concrete, and wood)
- Knowledge of one or more of the following software: SAFE, eTabs, ADA, S-Frame, AutoCAD, and the Microsoft Office suite
- Proficiency in French, both spoken and written
- Construction site health and safety certification (ASP card)
