About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead telecom equipment installations and commissioning activities in Central Office and Service Provider environments
Coordinate field crews and subcontractors to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved procedures
Execute circuit modifications, software upgrades, power transitions, and live network activities with precision
Perform quality assurance inspections, technical verifications, and final project walkthroughs
Interpret and resolve issues within job specifications, wiring schematics, equipment layouts, and MOPs
Maintain accurate installation records, as-built documentation, audits, and project reporting
Build strong customer relationships through professional on-site communication and technical leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: 3+ years of telecom installation experience within Central Office or Service Provider environments
Demonstrated expertise in fiber, copper, coax, DC power systems, BDFB installations, and equipment testing
Strong ability to read and interpret MOPs, technical drawings, wiring schematics, and equipment layouts
Proven leadership experience directing installation teams, mentoring technicians, and conducting QA inspections
Working knowledge of Telcordia GR-1275, AT&T TP-76300, and telecom safety standards
Willingness and ability to travel nationwide and work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
