About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare and review accounting entries for complex financial instruments and investment portfolios
- Perform financial and regulatory reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP and IRFRS standards
- Monitor and maintain collateral positions and margin movements with trading counterparties and clients
- Provide and maintain documentation for internal and external audit requests
- Collaborate with risk, treasury, and operations teams to resolve accounting and reporting issues
- Analyze balance sheet and P&L variances across products
- Identify opportunities to enhance accuracy, automation, and efficiency in accounting and reporting processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related quantitative field
- 3 years of experience with applying accounting, auditing, and financial reporting principles to track, analyze, reconcile, and report on financial activity
- 3 years of experience with preparing journal entries and reconciliations in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- 3 years of experience with performing month-end close, variance analysis, and financial reporting
- 3 years of experience with preparing financial reports and analyses utilizing Financial Edge and QuickBooks
- 3 years of experience with Excel tools including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and Index Match
