About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee and manage regulatory requests for information, regulatory and audit examinations, special projects, and ad-hoc deliverables
- Handle numerous initiatives and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in Canada and the US
- Prepare clear, concise, and impactful documentation for executive management and regulators
- Act as a trusted advisor for regulatory and audit requirements
- Identify opportunities to enhance Regulatory and Audit Management Programs through technology and innovation
- Develop and deliver training sessions and expert consultation
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in financial services
- Background in Compliance, Risk Management, Project Delivery and/or Internal Audit
- Deep knowledge of regulatory principles, practices, and policies relevant to the financial industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored for executive and regulatory stakeholders
- Technologically savvy with knowledge of technology and cybersecurity is a strong asset
