Investment Specialist, Bilingual

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- work closely with other CIBC Banking Centre employees to build lasting connections with existing clients and provide the right investment planning advice
- facilitate new client relationships by participating in business development activities within the community of banking centres in which you will work
- focus on each client experience and connect on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful
- collaborate with Banking Centre teams to enhance existing relationships by providing personalized investment advice and comprehensive planning support
- deeply understand your local market and potential client base, working with other members of the banking centre team to build a sales plan to convert leads into deeper relationships with CIBC clients
- heighten CIBC brand awareness in your community by initiating local marketing and outreach activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- current accreditation and good standing Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada)
- complete Personal Financial Planner (PFP) or Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC – Quebec based employees only)
- fluent in French and English
