About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for building and maintaining a portfolio of high-net-worth clients
  • Apply extensive in-depth knowledge to present a broad array of products and services to clients
  • Devise new methods to advise clients using strong analytic and inductive thinking
  • Develop strong and effective working relationships with clients and third parties
  • Proactively communicate with clients managing meetings, handling enquiries, and fulfilling expectations
  • Monitor overall Portfolio and individual client situations for productivity and profitability
  • Proactively approach business development activities to attract and win new business
  • Manage assigned Associate Portfolio Manager or Portfolio Associate
  • Support the Investment Counselor through the Investment Policy cycle

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A degree in business or a related field
  • An MBA is an asset
  • Accredited professional with a CFA or CIM designation or equivalent designation achieved
  • Equivalent experience and eligible to be fully registered as ICPM
  • A CFP, CPA, LLB, TEP and/or FEA is an asset
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Extensive investment industry knowledge
  • Experience in structuring individual, complex investment solutions for high net worth clients
  • Strong knowledge of sales management skills including sales principles and techniques
  • Strong financial analysis skills enabling expert advice on complex deals
