About the role

  • Accountable for managing all administrative aspects of Wood Gundy branch operations
  • Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of support staff
  • Manage day-to-day branch operations and administration including maintaining office equipment and supplies
  • Assist Branch Manager in performing Investment Advisor duties such as taking buy/sell orders
  • Ensure customer service standards and operational procedures are maintained

Requirements

  • Certified professional with Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH)
  • Demonstrated experience in the financial service brokerage industry
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Passionate about people management and interpersonal skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Problem solving skills sufficient to resolve issues and conflicts
