About the role

  • Develop and maintain Python automations for operational and compliance processes.
  • Design and evolve APIs and backend services, preferably using FastAPI.
  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines for ingestion and processing of structured and unstructured data.
  • Develop and maintain web scraping and crawling solutions, adhering to best practices for quality, stability, and compliance.
  • Support initiatives to extract and process data from documents and external sources, collaborating with internal teams.
  • Work from requirements gathering through solution delivery, ensuring alignment with SLAs and business expectations.
  • Keep technical and operational documentation up to date, acting as the knowledge custodian for the processes under your responsibility.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Python for automation, data tasks, and APIs.
  • Experience with FastAPI (or similar API frameworks).
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar).
  • Experience with ETL and data processing.
  • Experience with web scraping (Python libraries).
  • Basic knowledge of Linux (command line, running scripts, reading logs).
  • Familiarity with source control (Git).
  • Ability to document processes and technical solutions clearly.
