About the role

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architecture using AWS services.
  • Configure and manage Amazon EKS clusters, including worker nodes and availability regions.
  • Implement and manage API gateways, with a focus on Apigee.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with cloud infrastructure.
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with a focus on AWS services.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon EKS, including configuring worker nodes and managing availability regions.
  • Experience with API gateways, particularly Apigee.
  • Proficiency in English (both speaking and reading).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP Commerce or eCommerce capabilities/transactions is a plus.
  • Experience with Node.js is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of security best practices in cloud architecture is a plus.
