About the role

Develop and maintain microservices using Java/Kotlin Spring Boot
Build RESTful APIs that serve front-end applications and integrate with external systems
Implement business logic and data access layers following established patterns and best practices
Debug and troubleshoot complex issues in production and contribute to system reliability
Work with graph (e.g., Neo4j) and relational (e.g., MySQL) databases; develop efficient queries and data access patterns
Implement data validation, transformation, and migration procedures; contribute to schema design and optimization
Deploy and maintain applications on cloud infrastructure (particularly AWS); implement monitoring and logging
Work with containerized deployments (Docker) and cloud container services; contribute to infrastructure as code and automated pipelines
Collaborate with senior engineers, front-end developers, and cross-functional teams; participate in agile ceremonies
Engage in code reviews, pair programming, knowledge-sharing, and maintain technical documentation
Ensure back-end solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements through testing and quality best practices

3+ years of practical experience in back-end development with solid proficiency in Java or Kotlin Spring Boot
Working knowledge of graph databases (preferably Neo4j) and relational databases (preferably MySQL)
Experience with AWS cloud services and understanding of cloud deployment and scaling concepts
Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs; understanding of microservices architecture
Familiarity with version control systems and agile development practices
Experience with containerization (Docker), serverless concepts, orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
Good English communication skills
Relevant certifications are a plus
