About the role
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary agile teams to deliver exceptional outcomes to customers
- Understand customer requirements and collaboratively design scalable backend solutions
- Use innovative technologies to build secure and performant APIs and services
- Integrate databases, external services, and third-party APIs
- Contribute estimates for Agile stories and epics
- Develop, document, and test high-quality backend code
- Work closely with Frontend Developers and Testers in a collaborative development environment
- Solve technical challenges across the stack with teams and customers
- Contribute to the ongoing development of engineering standards and backend best practices
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in back-end development using Node.js, Express, or equivalent frameworks
- Experience with RESTful and/or GraphQL API design and development
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms is a plus
- Outstanding consulting skills, strong problem-solving and communication abilities
- Proactive and collaborative mindset focused on continuous improvement
