About the role

  • Define architecture of entire platforms or ecosystems: Support the client with a forward-looking technical vision, participating in discussions about the strategy and evolution of these platforms and ecosystems.
  • Work with client leadership to align business ↔ technology: Collaborate closely with business areas, translating objectives into practical, measurable solutions.
  • Evaluate long-term impacts (years, not sprints): Guide engineering teams with a focus on best practices, code quality, and consistent deliveries.
  • Define principles, standards and technical directions: Guide architectural decisions, helping the team build scalable, resilient, and well-integrated systems.
  • Review decisions that affect the client’s entire environment: Ensure cloud efficiency by applying cost, security, and performance best practices (GCP).

Requirements

  • Hard skills: Platform engineering, evolutionary architecture, standardization, ability to avoid irreversible decisions, technical governance, and long-term technological evolution.
  • Soft skills: Systems thinking, strategic thinking, negotiation with leadership, and executive communication.
  • Availability for hybrid work 2x per week in São Paulo, SP.
  • What would be a plus if you have:
  • - Experience with recent versions of Java and Spring Boot.
  • - Experience with recent versions of Angular.
  • - Knowledge of technologies such as Struts, older Angular versions (JS, etc.), Oracle, SQL Server, COBOL, DB2.
