About the role

  • Lead application modernization and cloud-native initiatives.
  • Design resilient, scalable, and high-availability architectures.
  • Support legacy system modernization and complex integrations in cloud environments.
  • Act as a technical leader, aligning business needs with architectural decisions.

Requirements

  • Advanced English for professional communication and technical discussions.
  • Proven experience in software architecture, with a strong focus on application modernization and system integration.
  • Solid experience with cloud computing, especially AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience leading technical decisions, architectural trade-offs, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong DevOps mindset, including CI/CD and automation practices.
  • Java with strong experience in both legacy (J2EE) and modern architectures (Spring Boot / Spring Framework).
  • RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Docker and Kubernetes, with mandatory experience using OpenShift.
  • Cloud platforms: AWS.
  • Messaging systems: Kafka and/or ActiveMQ.
  • Databases: Relational (Oracle or PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
  • CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins).
  • Automated testing strategy and experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit).
