Manage the entire payroll process, including salary calculations, deductions, benefits, provisions, employer social charges and filings.
Supervise the payroll team and ensure ongoing training and development of staff.
Ensure all processes comply with Brazilian labor legislation and regulatory standards.
Maintain internal control procedures and conduct periodic audits.
Ensure the efficiency of payroll team processes and the accuracy of generated data, as well as the integration of this information with legacy systems.
Analyze payroll team metrics to identify improvement opportunities and develop strategies that contribute to the business.
Respond to and clarify questions from management and HR regarding payroll issues and data produced by the payroll team.
Collaborate with other areas such as Human Resources, Controllership and Accounting to implement strategies that improve process efficiency.
Implement and improve payroll-related policies and procedures.
Monitor changes in tax and labor legislation and ensure the company remains compliant.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Solid experience in payroll processing.
Proficiency in payroll software.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Fluent in English.
