About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise technology solutions across on-premise infrastructure, cloud, applications, security, and collaboration platforms
- Provide Tier 3/4 support and root-cause analysis for complex issues
- Lead technical deployments, upgrades, integrations, and migrations
- Develop and enforce technical standards, configurations, and best practices
- Contribute to system architecture, technology roadmaps, and lifecycle planning
- Architect Azure Government Community Cloud services in a FedRAMP compliant environment
- Evaluate emerging technologies and make business- and security-aligned recommendations
- Architect, implement, and manage Microsoft 365, Azure, and GCC services
- Design and enforce Microsoft 365 governance frameworks
- Lead M365/Azure migrations, tenant consolidations, hybrid integrations, and major platform upgrades
- Serve as Tier 2/3 escalation for complex Microsoft 365, Azure, and GCC incidents
- Implement security controls and configurations to protect systems and data
- Participate in vulnerability remediation, incident response, and audit readiness
- Translate compliance requirements into technical controls, configurations, and operational processes
- Lead System Security Plans, POA&Ms, control implementation evidence, and audit readiness efforts
- Ensure systems support CUI protection, data residency, logging, auditability, and access control mandates
- Partner with security, legal, compliance, business units, vendors, and IT leadership
- Present technical concepts and recommendations to non-technical audiences
- Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, runbooks, and SOPs
- Mentor junior engineers and specialists
- Contribute to automation and process optimization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise IT environments
- Advanced experience with one or more of: Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCC; Microsoft 365 and identity platforms; compute, storage, and virtualization infrastructure; networking and security technologies; enterprise applications and integrations
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, cross-platform technical issues
- Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, AWS, VMware, Security+, or CISSP are preferred
- Experience in regulated or government-contract environments is preferred
- Experience with automation, scripting, or infrastructure-as-code is preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives or projects is preferred
