About the role
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Perform quarterly VAT reporting
- Create, book, and review accounting entries across legal entities
- Ensure consistent application of group chart of accounts and cost centers
- Monitor and report key SaaS metrics (ARR, Churn, LTV)
- Conduct variance analysis vs budgets and forecasts at entity and group level
- Prepare and follow up on departmental budgets
- Review and provide support for payroll process
- Improve and automate financial processes and reporting systems
- Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects to support strategic initiatives
- Report directly to Head of Finance and collaborate across Finance & Operations and company stakeholders
- Support M&A-related financial complexity and use AI to innovate financial processes
Requirements
- Relevant accounting and payroll experience (advantage)
- High proficiency with Google Sheets or Excel (must)
- High proficiency in English (must)
- Good proficiency in German (advantage)
- Proactive, ambitious mindset; ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Experience with SaaS metrics (ARR, Churn, LTV) advantageous
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ability to create, book, and review accounting entries
- Experience supporting payroll process
- Familiarity with financial process automation and reporting systems
