About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage assigned accounts within a defined territory, primarily consisting of large and mid-sized B2B clients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in the portfolio
  • Ensure contract renewals and guarantee client satisfaction
  • Identify, develop and close new business opportunities
  • Analyze and address clients’ technical, administrative and financial needs
  • Prepare commercial proposals and manage follow-up (pipeline)
  • Propose additional services that drive revenue growth (cross-selling)
  • Present and demonstrate products and services
  • Collaborate with internal teams to achieve individual and collective objectives
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions and follow-up actions in the CRM system

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Federal VET Certificate (CFC) in commercial business or equivalent qualification
  • Additional training in sales negotiation or key account management is a plus
  • Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience in a B2B sales role, account management or business development
  • Strong command of the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, proposal, negotiation, closing and retention
  • Experience in the fire protection sector is an advantage
  • Ability to analyze clients’ technical, administrative and financial requirements
  • Proficiency in consultative selling and negotiation techniques
  • Ability to prepare commercial proposals and manage a sales pipeline
  • Knowledge of commercial KPIs: revenue, margin, profitability, forecast and conversion rate
  • Ability to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
  • Ability to deliver product/service presentations and demonstrations
  • Good understanding of business priorities and customer mapping
  • Strong proficiency in office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) and CRM systems (Salesforce, Dynamics, HubSpot or equivalent)
