About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently
Develop and maintain knowledge of commodities handled at the location
Comply with company policies and government regulations
Work with customers courteously and professionally
Conduct and record daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks
Lubricate pumps, valves and loading arms
Inspect equipment for seeps and leaks
Monitor and maintain inventory quality
Keep work areas clean, orderly and safe
Perform housekeeping duties including sweeping, shoveling, power washing, scraping and spill cleanup
Complete appropriate record keeping
Report customer complaints, repair or maintenance needs, and safety concerns to the supervisor
Promote a strong safety culture and follow safety policies, procedures and regulations
Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance with unsafe conditions
Perform other assigned duties to ensure smooth facility operations and excellent customer service

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations
Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons
High School diploma or GED preferred
Agriculture experience preferred
Ability to lift 75 lbs
Ability to climb ladders, stairs and bins
Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures
May be required to pass pre-employment screenings, including drug, criminal, motor vehicle, physical requirements and FMCSA Clearinghouse checks
Detail-oriented and mechanically inclined
Strong communication skills
Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
