About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of commodities handled at the location
  • Comply with company policies and government regulations
  • Work with customers courteously and professionally
  • Conduct and record daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks
  • Lubricate pumps, valves and loading arms
  • Inspect equipment for seeps and leaks
  • Monitor and maintain inventory quality
  • Keep work areas clean, orderly and safe
  • Perform housekeeping duties including sweeping, shoveling, power washing, scraping and spill cleanup
  • Complete appropriate record keeping
  • Report customer complaints, repair or maintenance needs, and safety concerns to the supervisor
  • Promote a strong safety culture and follow safety policies, procedures and regulations
  • Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance with unsafe conditions
  • Perform other assigned duties to ensure smooth facility operations and excellent customer service

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Agriculture experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs
  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs and bins
  • Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures
  • May be required to pass pre-employment screenings, including drug, criminal, motor vehicle, physical requirements and FMCSA Clearinghouse checks
  • Detail-oriented and mechanically inclined
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
