About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently
Develop and maintain knowledge of commodities handled at the location
Comply with company policies and government regulations pertaining to commodities
Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner
Prepare trucks for loading and unloading, including sampling, loosening large nuts, opening hatches, and attaching or detaching flexible hoses
Load and unload agricultural inputs using heavy or light-duty machinery and equipment
Control and monitor load-out functions
Monitor and maintain inventory quality
Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work areas
Perform housekeeping duties such as sweeping, shoveling, power washing, scraping, and cleaning spills
Complete appropriate record keeping
Perform grounds maintenance, including snow removal
Perform warehouse loading and unloading
Report customer complaints, repair or maintenance needs, and safety concerns to a supervisor
Promote a strong safety culture and identify and communicate workplace hazards
Perform other assigned duties to ensure smooth facility operations and excellent customer service

Requirements

What you’ll need

Knowledge of Operations and/or Business Operations
Must meet minimum age requirement
Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons
Ability to lift 75 pounds
Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and bins
Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures
Must pass pre-employment screenings if required, including drug, criminal, motor vehicle, physical requirements, and FMCSA Clearinghouse checks
Must follow company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
