About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide excellent customer service and greet customers promptly and courteously
Assist customers browsing inventory or checking out at the counter
Perform cashier duties, accept payments, and issue receipts
Display and organize store products
Maintain store appearance through dusting, cleaning, and restocking merchandise
Order merchandise and track inventory as assigned
Monitor customers to assist with loss prevention
Assist with displays and promotions
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow safety policies, training, PPE procedures, and regulations
Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

1+ years of experience in retail and/or retail merchandising and customer service
Must meet minimum age requirement
Proficient in MS Office suite
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to customers and coworkers
Basic math and computer skills to operate store equipment, including cash registers and timekeeping systems
Ability to work flexible hours preferred
Ability to stand, squat, bend, and repeatedly lift up to 55 lbs
Must pass applicable pre-employment screenings if required
