About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform general administrative and clerical tasks supporting daily office operations
- Print and prepare paperwork for customers, drivers, and internal staff
- Create and print feed tags for production
- Weigh bulk trucks in and out and process weight tickets
- Stamp, enter, and maintain weight ticket data and operational records
- Scan and file production paperwork for inventory documentation
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to general email inquiries
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail
- Order office supplies, production tags, and other office materials
- Maintain organized filing systems and accurate records
- Perform light office housekeeping duties
- Handle sensitive material confidentially and with integrity
- Promote safety culture, follow safety policies, and report or correct workplace hazards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or GED
- Must meet minimum age requirement
- Knowledge of Office and Facilities Services
- Knowledge of Administrative Support
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Basic math skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons
- Administrative support experience
- Ability to sit, stand, push, and pull frequently
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Ability to speak frequently
- Successful completion of pre-employment screenings if required, including drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements, and FMCSA Clearinghouse screening
