About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide excellent customer service
Greet customers promptly and courteously
Assist customers browsing inventory or checking out items at the counter
Accept payments and issue receipts
Display and organize store products
Dust, clean, and restock merchandise
Order merchandise and track inventory as assigned
Monitor customers to assist with loss prevention
Assist with displays and promotions
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture
Follow safety policies, training, personal protective equipment procedures, and regulations
Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe conditions
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

1+ years of experience in Retail and/or Retail Merchandising and Customer Service
Must meet minimum age requirement
Proficient in MS Office suite
Ability to read, write and communicate in English to customers and coworkers
Basic math and computer skills to operate store equipment, including cash register and time and record keeping computer systems
Ability to work flexible hours preferred
High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to stand, squat, bend and lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly
Selected candidates must pass applicable pre-employment screenings if required, including drug, criminal, motor vehicle, physical requirements, and FMCSA Clearinghouse checks
