About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operate truck weigh scales, corn sampling and grading equipment, and manage entry of data into the accounting system
Complete shipping, receiving and inspection documents neatly and accurately
Participate in the plant maintenance program by performing routine preventative maintenance tasks and calibrations on the truck weight scales
Report faulty equipment and interface with plant maintenance and IT staff to facilitate repair or replacement
Participate in troubleshooting and process improvement activities in conjunction with plant maintenance and IT staff
Play an active role in the plant housekeeping program
Actively participate in safety, health, and environmental programs
Approach every task with safety as the first work consideration
Identify and mitigate hazards before starting work tasks
Maintain situational awareness to identify and mitigate hazards while performing work tasks
Perform other duties as needed or assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Knowledge of Operations and/or Business Operations
High School diploma or GED preferred
Pre-employment screenings may be required, including drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMCSA Clearinghouse
