About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical support and guidance on all matters related to safety
Implement and manage existing safety programs to ensure compliance and foster a culture of safety
Assist in the development and implementation of EH&S related plans, programs, policies, and procedures
Conduct effective EH&S related training for employees, contractors, and visitors
Conduct basic EH&S related audits, workplace inspections, job safety analysis, and maintain detailed recordkeeping
Conduct accident investigations, manage worker’s compensation process, and return to work program
Communicate EH&S related requirements and expectations to other departments and personnel
Properly respond to day-to-day EH&S related issues in a timely manner
Keep current on all applicable EH&S related rules and regulations

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma or GED
Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and/or Safety
Ability to complete OSHA 30 hour
Bachelor's degree preferred in Occupational Health, Environmental Health and Safety, or related field
Pre-employment screening may include drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMSCA Clearinghouse
