About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operate a semi-tractor and trailer (or straight truck) to deliver non-hazardous materials
Drive in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies
Provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries
Connect and disconnect trailers, and perform product transfer activities
Complete required delivery documentation and daily load/unload reports
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Report accidents, incidents, near misses, and equipment issues
Provide informal guidance and support to Associate Drivers as needed
Share operational knowledge and best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Valid Class A or Class B CDL (as required for the equipment/route)
Have a minimum of 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience
Must meet age requirement
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance
Complete required documentation accurately.
Demonstrate the ability to operate independently in a high-skill driving role
Demonstrated safe-driving performance and ability to make sound safety decisions
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
