About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Product Strategy
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product’s vision and mission
- Develop a product marketing strategy to drive consumption
- Create, maintain, and communicate the product roadmap
- Hold decision-making authority for scope-versus-schedule decisions
- Defining and facilitating clear work in-take processes.
- Prioritize backlog based on customer and business value
- Communicate successes to the enterprise
- Understand the overall market, various segments, and define user personas
- Conduct the necessary research and analysis to understand the customers’ needs
- Work with the business to build detailed requirements and user stories
- Represent the voice of the customer to the product delivery team
- Facilitate customer engagements with the product delivery team
- Negotiate with the customer representatives to prioritize work in the backlog
- Ensure the team understands the context of the stories in the backlog
- Provide leadership to ensure the product delivery team achieves a balance between user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility
- Ensure value realization by measuring the impact of delivered features against the goals and KPIs identified by stakeholders.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent years of work experience, training and education)
- 4+ years of experience working with both business and IT employees/stakeholders in a cross-functional environment
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex ideas and interdependencies
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand the larger company strategy
- Strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Track record of using quantitative and qualitative data to prioritize decision-making
- Proven ability to effectively drive change
- Knowledge of sound observability practices and capabilities
- 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following roles: Product Owner, Product Marketer, IT Relationship Manager, Business Analyst, Engineer or Developer
- Experience working on or leading Agile teams
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and end-users
- Organizing, facilitating, and leading a cross-functional team
- Product Owner certification
- Dynatrace platform experience
- Workflow automation knowledge
- Experience with Scrum methodology
- Advanced proficiency in agile delivery tools such as Azure DevOps.
