About the role
- Information and Cybersecurity
- Plan, implement, and maintain information security and cybersecurity controls
- Monitor environments, networks, and systems to identify vulnerabilities and threats
- Participate in security incident response (investigation, containment, eradication, and lessons learned)
- Conduct risk analyses and impact assessments (risk assessment, threat modeling)
- Ensure the protection of sensitive data and critical organizational information
- Governance, Risk and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, LGPD, GDPR, among others)
- Support internal and external information security audits
- Develop, review, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures
- Support corporate technology-related risk management initiatives
- Security Architecture and Solutions
- Evaluate, select, and manage security tools (SIEM, EDR, DLP, IAM, WAF, firewalls, etc.)
- Support security projects in on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
- Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to ensure security by design (Security by Design / DevSecOps)
- Security Training and Culture
- Serve as a technical reference for the security team
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level analysts
- Lead information security awareness initiatives for employees
- Participate in defining the company's security roadmap and strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related fields
- Strong experience in information security and cybersecurity
- Knowledge of networks, protocols, and systems architecture
- Operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Security in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Monitoring and incident response tools
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Experience with security frameworks and best practices
- Fluent English
- Desired certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor, CompTIA Security+, and cloud security certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
