About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead projects from initiation to handover.
  • Develop and maintain project plans and timelines relating to the deployment of PhotonAssay™ systems.
  • Arrange and lead meetings and take notes.
  • Support process improvement initiatives.
  • Responsibility and accountability for managing the installation and commissioning process.
  • Identification of installation sites, oversight of installation requirements, and local authorities licencing and accreditation requirements.
  • Product commissioning, including liaison with customers and their sub-contractors, schedule planning, and coordination of on-site and remote technical teams.
  • Frequent travel to deployment sites, primarily within the APAC region.
  • Support and manage installation and commissioning activities onsite and remotely across different time zones.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of systems/processes to improve the way in which we manage deployment.
  • Share knowledge and provide guidance to peers.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A tertiary qualification in project management, engineering or equivalent experience.
  • At least three years' experience in project coordination or management.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in office software like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Able and willing to travel both interstate and internationally, including to remote locations such as mine sites, subject to applicable travel restrictions.
  • Attention to detail and highly organised.
  • Experience with the mining industry and mine-site operations or experience with civil engineering projects (desirable).
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in a diverse environment (desirable).
  • Willingness to take on a wide variety of tasks, including those both ‘above’ and ‘below’ the designated role (desirable).
  • Familiarity with additional office productivity software such as SharePoint and Project (desirable).
  • Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD (desirable).
  • Familiarity with additional project management software such as Planner and Monday.com (desirable).
