About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the design, development, validation, commissioning, and production release of Chrysos’ PhotonAssay™ Max systems.
- Contribute to the testing and validation of the PLC control systems and HMI.
- Contribute to the design and integration of key sub-systems and prototypes.
- Prepare and review documentation including data collection and analysis.
- Support troubleshooting investigations of mechanical, electrical and/or programming issues.
- Support assembly and commissioning work for new PhotonAssay™ units.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A tertiary qualification in mechatronic, mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience in programming and debugging PLC systems within an engineering role.
- Experience working within an engineering team in the design and/or technical integration of mechanical or electrical systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of technical documentation and reports.
- Able and willing to travel both interstate and internationally (subject to Australian Government travel restrictions).
