Identify, analyze, and resolve software development lifecycle bottlenecks and advocate for best practices in development processes.
Architect our infrastructure systems to ensure reliability in the face of our high scale of traffic.
Build on top of our infrastructure stack using Go, Terraform, Kubernetes, GCP, and AWS.
Consult with engineers across the engineering organization as they build their systems to ensure infrastructure best practices.

Requirements

A strong sense of ownership and the ability to independently drive projects end-to-end from architecture to rollout.
Experience in building high-scale and distributed cloud systems. A breadth of experience with context across the stack from the Cloud Provider and Kubernetes level down to the application container level.
Collaboration skills both within the team and cross-functionally across the engineering organization. The ability to grow and up-level your peers with experience mentoring junior engineers.
Excellent skills in an object-oriented programming language such as Go, Java, Python, or C++. Knowing a specific language isn’t important; what matters is that you’ve become fluent in one by spending a lot of time on the types of projects where these languages are used.
