Sales Engineer

• Partner with Account Executives to drive the technical win in Enterprise sales cycles
• Translate product capabilities into clear business and engineering impact for stakeholders (from ICs to leadership)
• Lead technical discovery to understand prospect architecture, workflows, and challenges
• Deliver tailored product demos that clearly articulate Chromatic and Storybook’s value for frontend teams
• Own and execute proof-of-concepts (POCs) and technical evaluations
• Guide prospects through integrating Chromatic into their CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
• Advise on best practices for scaling component-driven development and modern front-end testing across teams
• Address technical objections, including security, performance, and architecture concerns
• Collaborate with prospects’ engineering teams to solve real-world implementation challenges during evaluations
• Support RFPs, security reviews, and technical due diligence processes

Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales

Revenue Operations

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date deal records throughout the pipeline.
• Ensure required deal fields are completed correctly and consistently.
• Proactively identify missing, duplicate, or inaccurate CRM data and execute cleanup.
• Monitor pipeline health and flag inconsistencies or urgent data issues to GTM leadership.
• Support troubleshooting of HubSpot issues for GTM team members (permissions, workflows, automations, etc).
• Assist in creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and lists for GTM stakeholders.
• Understand and manage how data flows between HubSpot and integrated tools (e.g., enrichment tools, billing systems, product data).
• Troubleshoot issues across workflows, integrations, and automations, not just within the UI.
• Build and maintain HubSpot workflows with clear logic, dependencies, and error handling.
• Partner with RevOps on system architecture decisions and data model improvements.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and implement scalable solutions.
• Save signed contracts promptly to the designated company drive and ensure records follow naming/filing conventions.
• Ensure all contract details are accurately reflected in HubSpot and relevant systems.
• Coordinate with Sales and Business Operations to ensure all required documentation is complete and organized.
• Assist in documenting processes, SOPs, and updates to GTM and RevOps workflows.
• Support RevOps in system implementations, process adjustments, or automation improvements.
• Collaborate in QA/testing of CRM changes, new workflows, or integrations.
• Help streamline team processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.

Revenue Operations Specialist

Full-stack Engineer

• Build and maintain scalable, reliable systems in our TypeScript / Node.js / GraphQL / MongoDB stack.
• Own projects from conception to completion, breaking down features into discrete units of work and maintaining momentum toward delivery
• Work cross-functionally at Chromatic to ensure feature continuity between Chromatic and Storybook and ship work that delights developers.
• Continuously improve existing systems by identifying opportunities for optimization, refactoring, and modernization
• Participate in the team's support rotation, which is primarily within business hours

Product Manager

• Own the vision for end-to-end business objectives that span multiple engineering teams.
• Synthesize your ideas, our business goals, customer feedback, product analytics and insights gleaned from the marketing/sales teams into feature specifications.
• Work closely with the engineering and marketing teams to ensure we ship world class software that matters to our existing and future customers.
• Manage analytics instrumentation across our products and use it to make data driven product decisions.

Senior Product Manager

Developer Relations

• Create developer-facing content that supports the lead pipeline like articles, guides, webinars, talks, videos, case studies, landing pages, and demos.
• Partner with Marketing and Sales to embed developer voice in campaigns.
• Run programs (e.g. webinars, workshops, live streams) that bring developers into the funnel and nurture them toward adoption.
• Collect feedback from the field and distill developer pain points for GTM, Sales, and Product.
• Maintain a high bar for technical accuracy and clarity to earn developer trust.
• Proactively spot opportunities to equip GTM with developer narratives, rather than waiting for direction.

Developer Relations – Go to Market

Sales Development Rep

• Generate interest in Chromatic by clearly messaging Chromatic’s key benefits and unique features in a relevant/personalized way across email, social channels, and other forms of outreach.
• Analyze our existing customer data to determine which free accounts represent the greatest near-term opportunities.
• Book qualified meetings with senior prospects + key decision-makers.
• Collaborate with your team and manager throughout the inside sales process.
• Meet defined activity and quality goals to drive pipeline growth and achieve revenue targets.
• Work closely with Account Executives and your Manager to refine strategies and messaging for better results.

Sales Development Representative – SDR

Engineering Manager

• Lead a team of 6-10 engineers and consistently deliver projects that align with our business objectives.
• Collaborate with the rest of the engineering management team to continually evolve our culture and processes.
• Work cross-functionally at Chromatic to ensure feature continuity between Chromatic and Storybook and ship work that delights developers.
• Collaborate with the Product team, your peer managers, and other stakeholders to prioritize upcoming projects.
• Take responsibility for successful execution of projects in your domain.
• Meet regularly with your team to manage tasks and help remove blockers.
• Mentor and support the growth of our engineering team.
• Establish onboarding procedures for new hires to the team, and help grow the team through hiring as needed.
