About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the implementation and configuration of the EpicCare Clinical Documentation module for clinical departments
- Conduct workflow analysis using the Epic system and identify process improvements
- Customize the module to meet clinical and operational requirements
- Implement and optimize Clinical Case Management, Rover, MyChart Bedside, and Epic Monitor
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans
- Train and support physicians, nurses, and administrative staff using the Epic system
- Troubleshoot and resolve EpicCare Clinical Documentation issues with IT and clinical teams
- Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and training materials
- Collaborate with IT, clinical staff, project managers, Epic representatives, the organization, and end users
- Communicate weekly with team members about deliverable status, risks, budget, and upcoming milestones
- Apply Epic implementation best practices and methodologies while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, information technology, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience working with Epic systems or a similar EHR platform required
- High School Diploma with 5 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
- Epic certification in clinical documentation modules preferred
- Familiarity with clinical workflows and documentation processes
- Epic certification preferred; if not certified, must become Epic certified
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States

- Must be within a commutable distance for frequent on-site work
