About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Strengthen first-year caregiver retention through exceptional onboarding and professional development.
- Create a standardized, engaging onboarding experience that prepares caregivers for long-term success.
- Improve Environmental Services inspection performance through education, coaching, and competency validation.
- Develop innovative digital learning resources that support caregivers across multiple campuses.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
- Designing and implementing onboarding, orientation, and ongoing professional development programs.
- Creating engaging digital learning content, including e-learning modules and educational resources.
- Delivering instructor-led, simulation-based, and hands-on training that builds caregiver confidence and competency.
- Standardizing training, competencies, and educational materials across the health system.
- Utilizing data, inspection results, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Managing Environmental Services education within the Learning Management System (LMS) while serving as a trusted coach and subject matter expert.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Progressive Environmental Services leadership experience, preferably within a healthcare environment.
- Experience designing and delivering instructor-led and digital learning programs.
- Experience creating e-learning content and utilizing Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Knowledge of Environmental Services operations, infection prevention, and regulatory standards.
- Experience leading onboarding, coaching, competency validation, or workforce development initiatives.
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational, project management, and change management abilities.
