About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns related to workplace policies, procedures, and practices.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Mediate and resolve employee disputes and grievances in a fair and impartial manner.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve employee morale and engagement.
- Collaborates with operational management to achieve Christiana Care business objectives such as change leadership and retention initiatives.
- Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints, including allegations of harassment, discrimination, and policy violations.
- Prepare detailed investigation reports and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Conduct exit interviews, and analyze the data for trends and improvement opportunities.
- Develop, revise, and communicate employee relations policies and procedures.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or higher required.
- 2 years of experience in employee relations, human resources, or a related field.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
