Manager – Virtual Nursing
ChristianaCareManager for Virtual Nursing overseeing operational activities and ensuring patient care at ChristianaCare Health System. Direct supervision of nursing staff and compliance with healthcare standards in a hybrid environment.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee all operational aspects of the Center for Virtual Health
- Managing caregivers, budgeting, implementing policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Ensuring quality patient care
- Direct supervision of RNs and providing directions to Paramedics, Contract Staff, Providers
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and departments
- Conduct routine chart audits and rounds on nurses and patients
- Responsible for unit time schedule and managing conflicts
- Fostering a positive work environment
- Conducting interviews and hiring of caregivers
- Implementing and adhering to policies/procedures/SOPs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, or New Jersey
- BLS certification
- BSN and master’s degree or alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree and Masters of Science in Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing leadership experience
- More than 10 years nursing direct patient care experience with preference for a background in both ambulatory and acute care nursing
- Virtual healthcare experience preferred but not required.
- Nursing leadership course completed
