About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and own Chorus's core messaging, value propositions, and "Why Chorus" positioning across the Target Addressable Market and Ideal Customer Profiles
  • Partner with the CRO, CEO, VP of Product, and VP of Behavioral Health Programs to prioritize ICPs and align go-to-market strategies
  • Map the customer journey across pipeline stages and ensure seamless handoffs between marketing, sales, and customer success
  • Build sales enablement materials, including product sheets, ICP-tailored content, pitch assets, and objection-handling frameworks
  • Develop a competitive intelligence function, battlecards, and ongoing differentiation strategies
  • Own the multi-year marketing growth plan and determine hiring priorities and sequence
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage new full-time hires as the team expands
  • Manage existing contractors and determine when to convert contract resources to full-time roles
  • Manage and collaborate with the full-time Marketing Designer
  • Establish the operating rhythm, process, and cross-functional reporting cadence for marketing
  • Represent marketing in executive leadership discussions regarding resourcing, budget allocation, and strategic direction
  • Initially execute product marketing, messaging refinement, and sales enablement hands-on as a player-coach
  • Stand up specialized marketing sub-functions such as demand generation, paid media, and content operations, then transition into managing the day-to-day marketing organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrated track record building positioning, messaging frameworks, and sales enablement collateral in complex domains
  • Background in behavioral health programs or government-regulated healthcare SaaS strongly preferred
  • Proven experience building or scaling a marketing function in an early-stage, resource-constrained, high-growth environment
  • Strong, concise writing ability
  • Willingness and ability to execute hands-on as an initial individual contributor
  • Exposure to or hands-on experience in demand generation or growth marketing
  • Ability to build and oversee demand generation or growth marketing specialization
