About the role

  • Deliver against account objectives across merchandising, assortment, pricing, and promotion
  • Manage the forecast in partnership with the Business Analytics Team and under guidance from the Director of Sales, Natural
  • Own promotion execution at Whole Foods including trade planning, pricing compliance, and shopper marketing activations
  • Manage forecasts, oversee inventory and PO execution, drive promotional plans, and foster strong customer and distributor relationships
  • Partner with cross-functional teams: Brokers (Whole Foods coverage), Distributor partners (UNFI), Shopper Marketing & Retail Activation teams, Business Analytics team, Sales Ops
  • Provide input to commercialization on new items, fixtures, and shippers to drive category expansion in Natural
  • Analyze consumption, syndicated, and distributor data to identify headwinds, opportunities, and actionable insights
  • Support customer meetings and business reviews by preparing materials and representing the brand
  • Report to the Director of Sales - Natural

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods industry
  • Previous experience working with or at key retailer: Whole Foods and Sprouts
  • Previous experience with distributor partners: UNFI and KeHE
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking and relationship building skills
  • Experience in sales planning, trade management and forecasting
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced, high demand environment
  • Self-sufficient and highly detail oriented
  • Passion for natural and organic products
  • Ability to travel for trade shows, sales calls, and meetings – approximately 25% of time
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must be an analytical thinker and data-driven; strong data analysis skills and experience working with IRI/Nielsen and/or Retail POS data
  • Have worked with trade management and demand planning software
  • Strong PC skills including online applications, MS Office, and Power BI
  • Must reside in the United States and be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
