About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Managing and performing sales direct to national foodservice chain operators
- Focus on a targeted list of the top 100 national chains
- Generate new business leads and build pipeline of new business to drive sales
- Establish and maintain strong business relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within the national foodservice segment
- Create Annual Operating Plan (AOP), measured by growth of Key Performance Indicators
- Develop, plan, and implement strategic selling plans
- Provide integrated customer, consumer, and competitor insights to the leadership team
- Regularly perform menu and operations analysis
- Partner with the Demand team functions in ensuring excellence in execution of all brand-related activities
- Lead initiatives for new product development and coordinate national rollouts of new products
- Improve communication and develop process improvements to drive increased sales
- Complete other tasks as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- 5-7 years consumer packaged goods experience including Foodservice regional, corporate, or national account and/or Category Management
- High level of proficiency in working directly with Senior Level Management within a client’s headquarters
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience building, leading, and mentoring a large, dedicated team
- Strong cross-functional exposure / experience
- Highly customer focused with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
- Highly organized, can balance multiple projects at once
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft PowerPoint
- Knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
- Willingness to travel 30-50%
