Develop, implement, and administer the plant controls Ethernet network
Engineer and implement in-house, or work with a third party to produce reliable automation solutions
Provide maintenance break/fix support for automation related issues
Serve as automation and controls authority on local project teams
Serve as a high-level technical support resource for complex automation and electrical issues
Produce energy and production reports using Wonderware historian, ICIS energy management, and ICIS Plant Performance
Administer and maintain all associated plant databases
Maintain all automation-related programs and documentation
Work with the Automation and Controls Manager to produce best practices for the Twin Falls location
Assist with other plant or department members in developing and championing programs and projects
Work with IT to build a bridge from plant floor data to the ERP system
Continually seek out best practices and share with the organization
Take a leadership role in contributing to and completing more complex automation tasks
Take a lead position in plant investigations

Requirements

6+ years of electrical, controls, and automation experience
Bachelor's degree in a technical field coupled with 4+ years of relevant work experience
Proven history of programming project management
Overall high-performance evaluation
Expertise in crafting and implementing complex automation solutions
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Mentor and train technicians effectively
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
Advanced knowledge of PLC and HMI programming
Strong and proven leadership skills
Strong cross-functional exposure / experience
Highly client-centric and can build and maintain strong relationships
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
Balance multiple priorities at once
Proficient with reporting systems such as Retail Link, IRI, and AC Nielsen
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
In-depth knowledge and practical experience in SQL database design, implementation, and optimization
Willingness to travel
