About the role
- Part of the team of process engineers designing the dairy processing operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Work closely with other departments, including Capital project managers, Operations, Quality, etc to ensure seamless integration of process engineering solutions
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with process engineering projects, ensuring safety and reliability
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of process designs, specifications, and project progress
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies
- Occasional travel to equipment vendors and other Chobani sites
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in process engineering
- Experience in hygienic process design, specific experience with cultured dairy products and aseptic processing is a plus
- Understanding of PLC and logic controls for manufacturing equipment is preferred
- Proficiency in process simulation software, CAD tools, and other relevant engineering applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team management, mentorship, and conflict resolution
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously
