About the role
- Manage cross-functional project teams including IT professionals, legal professionals, firm leaders, and external vendors
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies
- Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices and firm standards
- Analyze current processes and recommend efficiency improvements
- Develop and maintain project management templates, procedures, and documentation
- Lead implementation projects of new legal technologies and workflow tools
- Coordinate system integrations and data migration projects
- Support digital transformation initiatives and change management efforts
- Coordinate training programs for new systems and processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
- 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in professional services, technology, or legal environment
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder technology implementations and business transformation projects
- Background in process improvement, change management, or business operations
- Experience with stakeholder management across multiple business functions
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar)
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with enterprise software platforms (Salesforce, NetSuite, SharePoint, etc.)
- Experience with financial management and budget tracking tools
- Experience with enterprise and/or legal technology platforms a plus
