Serve as an engineering consultant and technical expert on mission-critical infrastructure, systems, and equipment.
Apply professional engineering knowledge to assess requirements and develop preliminary and final design plans, engineering specifications, cost estimates, and procurement packages.
Design, analyze, configure, test, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, utility, and mission critical systems and equipment.
Specify functional requirements; design and test components; analyze designs; integrate components; evaluate design effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.
Provide project engineering/program management support and deliver engineering/life cycle support in specialized areas.
Conduct surveys and investigations at project sites to collect data prior to design.
Communicate complex technical information clearly to engineers, contractors, facility owners, and Chinook leadership across platforms.
Independently initiate and drive tasks, prioritize to meet budgets and schedules, manage multiple tasks, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or directly related field.
Entry-level role: 0-2 years of experience; some experience or related internships preferred.
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project, PowerPoint).
Proficiency with MS Project, Visio, CAD, BIM, Energy Management or Modeling.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain up to a Top Secret clearance due to customer requirements.
Preferred: An Active Secret or higher Security Clearance.
Physical requirements: able to walk construction sites with uneven surfaces, carry up to 25 lbs., climb stairs and ladders, work indoors and outdoors in severe weather, in confined spaces, and in dust generating environments; wear PPE where required.
