About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and drive the Manufacturing data strategy and roadmap, embedding a PDCA approach to continuous improvement
- Enable Global MANEX / Diageo Make to become a data ‑ powered organisation through standardised metrics and analytics models
- Partner with Global Manufacturing, Global Process Owners, Digital Supply Chain, and wider stakeholders to align data, reporting, and insights
- Lead data governance to ensure accuracy, security, and a trusted single source of truth
- Coordinate dashboards, reporting, and performance monitoring to support faster, better decision ‑ making
- Translate sophisticated data into clear, actionable insights that drive manufacturing performance
- Continuously refine data models, tools, and processes based on insights, outcomes, and collaborator feedback
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong expertise in data analysis, visualisation, and analytics tools (e.g. VBA, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau)
- Solid understanding of statistical methods and their application in a manufacturing environment
- Highly analytical with strong problem ‑ solving skills and the ability to turn sophisticated data into actionable solutions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to non ‑ technical stakeholders
- Proven project management capability, managing multiple initiatives and deliverables optimally
- Strong eye for business with an understanding of manufacturing processes and industry challenges (IBD qualification preferred)
