About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set and execute the Consumer domain data strategy, defining clear roadmaps and priorities that align enterprise data ambitions with Consumer and Customer business outcomes
- Support end-to-end delivery of Consumer data products, accountable for value, quality, and timeliness, while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, standards, and platforms
- Partner cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Business teams to translate business needs into scalable, reusable data assets that support insight, personalisation, and growth
- Embed strong data governance, ownership, quality, and compliance, ensuring Consumer data is trusted, well-managed, and fit for advanced analytics, AI, and regulatory requirements
- Drive agile, efficient ways of working, actively handling risks, dependencies, and delivery performance to balance short-term delivery with long-term transformation
- Build trusted stakeholder relationships and lead data culture change, championing data-driven decision-making, accountability, and high-performing teams across global markets
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or similar)
- 7–10+ years’ experience in senior data, delivery, or data product leadership roles within large, matrixed organisations
- Demonstrable experience leading data strategy and delivery for Customer and/or Consumer domains
- Good understanding of data management concepts including data architecture, governance, quality, integration, and analytics
- Demonstrated experience with agile delivery methodologies and tools (e.g., ADO, Jira, Confluence)
- Excellent partnership management, communication, and influencing skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working with modern, cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Nice to Have Experience within FMCG / CPG or consumer-centric industries
- Certifications in data management, governance, or analytics (e.g., CDMP, DAMA)
- Previous hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics, or Python
- Experience operating across markets with varying data maturity and regulatory environments.
