Digital Account Manager – PPC, SEO
CHILIDigital Account Manager leading SEO and PPC projects for international clients at Chili Digital. Responsible for client portfolio health, multidisciplinary squad leadership, and project delivery excellence.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the overall performance and health of your client portfolio.
- Be accountable for retention, upsells, cross-sells and portfolio expansion opportunities.
- Identify risks early and take proactive measures to prevent client churn.
- Partner with Sales and Leadership on renewals, scope changes and growth initiatives.
- Ensure portfolio growth is sustainable and does not compromise delivery quality or margins.
- Act as the single point of accountability for all client communications.
- Lead monthly reviews, strategic calls, quarterly planning sessions and performance deep dives.
- Confidently manage difficult conversations, expectations, feedback and escalations.
- Translate clients’ business objectives into clear strategies and execution plans.
- Represent Chili as a senior strategic partner rather than a vendor.
- Lead and manage your full squad (SEO, PPC, Content, CRO, BI).
- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, KPI tracking and development planning.
- Ensure team members understand priorities, standards and expectations.
- Identify skill gaps and coordinate training, certifications and coaching plans.
- Participate in hiring decisions and make performance-based team adjustments when necessary.
- Drive accountability while maintaining a high-performance, healthy team culture.
- Own timelines, milestones and quality standards for your portfolio.
- Ensure campaigns and projects are delivered on time, on scope and to Chili’s quality standards.
- Use ClickUp (or equivalent) to manage workflows, dependencies and visibility.
- Ensure SOPs are followed and continuously improved when gaps are identified.
- Balance speed and quality in a fast-paced, multi-client environment.
- Understand performance across SEO, Paid Media, CRO and funnels at a strategic level.
- Use data to inform decisions, prioritization and client conversations.
- Ensure reporting is clear, honest and tied to business outcomes.
- Work closely with BI to improve dashboards, transparency and actionable insights.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years in a senior Account Manager, Client Partner or Client Services role (agency experience required).
- Strong working knowledge of SEO, Paid Media (Google, Meta), CRO and funnel strategy.
- Proven experience managing client portfolios with revenue responsibility.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience (regular 1:1s, performance reviews and development plans).
- Experience with project management tools (ClickUp preferred; Asana, Monday, Trello acceptable).
- Strong commercial mindset with demonstrated experience in upselling, cross-selling and value positioning.
- Advanced English (mandatory) — daily communication with international clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Highly organized, resilient and able to perform under pressure.
- Comfortable multitasking and making decisions in a fast-moving environment.
