Provide professional support to Attorneys, Insurance Program Manager, Contract Program Manager, and other OGC/Risk Management staff
Interact with internal and external customers to provide information on insurance coverage and contracting issues
Assist Contract Program Manager with contract repository, master index, security of stored documents, alerts for renewals, intra-Hospital document routing, contract reviews and redlines, Joint Commission survey preparation, and maintenance of templates
Assist Insurance Program Manager with coordination of insurance renewals/applications, Captive Board meetings, captive document coordination, policy book maintenance, broker relationships, physician database maintenance and insurance certifications, claims preparation and coordination, processing vendor and indemnity payments, maintaining CDL driver files, composing responses for certificates of insurance and claims histories
Support Senior Counsel and Staff Counsel: calendar coordination, scheduling meetings/depositions, process subpoenas, collect/analyze patient records, organize and track case files, ensure CLE and licensure compliance, compose/edit correspondence and legal documents, process vendor payments
Maintain highest level of confidentiality
Requirements
High School diploma, or equivalent
3-5 years' experience
Property and Casualty Insurance knowledge preferred
Hold or eligible to obtain a Missouri Notary Commission
Must live in the Kansas City metro area
Must be willing to be vaccinated if found non-immune to MMR and varicella and/or without evidence of Tdap since 2005
