Key responsibilities & impact
  • Works under the direction of the manager to facilitate daily operations, including patient flow, staffing assignments, safe patient care
  • Promotes a healthy work environment at Children's
  • Supports environment for delivery of care
  • Acts as clinical resource for patient population in area

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 2 years’ healthcare experience required
  • Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of Clinical Nurse 3-5 level or management/administrative experience in a healthcare setting
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of employment or upon start of clinical shift if working in the Emergency Department (ED)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification from the American Heart Association within 1 year of employment as required by department specifications
  • Professional Nursing certification deemed by department required upon one year of hire
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
