About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides investigational pharmaceutical care services by evaluating, implementing, and maintaining research drug protocols
- Ensures drug-related studies are conducted in compliance with established protocols, institutional policy and procedures, and state and federal regulations
- Facilitates and manages investigational drug procurement, storage, distribution, destruction, inventory, and record keeping of pharmaceutical research
- Collaborates with members of the research team, assumes education responsibilities, provides accurate and efficient dispensing of medication
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a pharmacist
- Prior experience as a hospital pharmacist
- Prior experience as an investigational drug or oncology pharmacist
- Previous experience with sterile and hazardous drug compounding
- Graduation from an accredited pharmacy school (Bachelor of Science or Pharm.D.)
- Georgia licensed pharmacist or eligible
